Despite the Illinois budget impasse and with strategic epilepsy program reorganization, we have been able to continue to provide essential epilepsy services. Like all Illinois social service agencies the Epilepsy Foundation of Southern Illinois has received significant cuts to our funding and yet we have remained steadfast in our efforts to support the epilepsy community. Our programs continue to foster the wellbeing of children, adults and their families affected by seizures through research programs, educational activities, advocacy, and direct services.
The Epilepsy Foundation of Southern Illinois is very active in the communities in which we serve and we plan to continue to reach more residents in our communities.
Please continue your much appreciated support by registering for Epilepsy Walk 2019 and/or donating to the Epilepsy Foundation of Southern Illinois, so we can continue to support and provide program services to the 1 in 26 people who have epilepsy, their families and friends. If you have any questions or concerns, you can contact Whitney at firstname.lastname@example.org or 618-244-6680.
